Ubuntu on macbook pro

Got Ubuntu 10.04 mostly running on my Macbook Pro. Successfully tested going into standby mode. I’m not going to try hibernation though. I don’t really like ubuntu…I prefer other distros, but it was new and I was frustrated with getting wifi to work under linux. Now that I know it is mostly just the Gnome Network Manager, perhaps I’ll try again with slack or gentoo.

For some reason the mac runs a lot hotter under Ubuntu than under OSX. Since my office is often too cold, it makes for a nice hand warmer.
